Workforce Investment Act
Texas’ Training Provider Certification System

Workforce Solutions Alamo continues to accept applications from training entities for Initial or Subsequent Eligibility under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). Entities that are approved by Workforce Solutions Alamo are referred to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) for inclusion or retention in Texas’ Eligible Training Provider System (ETPS) Statewide List.

Training provided in the Alamo Area, which includes Bexar, Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina and Wilson counties, must be in demand occupations identified by Workforce Solutions Alamo as part of the local plan.

Workforce Solutions Alamo has set the following minimum performance requirements for applications received from July 1, 2010 – June 30, 2011:
 

Program Completion Rate	75%
Program Employment Rate	75%
Average Employment Wage	90% of state average entry-level wage
