HIRING EVENTS
Workforce Solutions Alamo (WSA) partners with employers to host hiring events throughout the year. Expect most hiring events this year to be hosted virtually. For Job Seekers to participate and receive event notifications register with the Work In Texas portal. The popular Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Red White & You Veterans’ Hiring event is held annually in November.
If you are an employer, we are here to support your hiring needs. Our business advisors will work with you to plan, coordinate location, and promote the event.
Employer Requirements:
- Operating with a Texas Tax ID and Valid Unemployment Insurance (UI) in place
- Job postings listed in the Work In Texas portal with a minimum of 10 openings
- Commits to providing a list of all referrals and resulting hirers
