How to Apply for Services

 

To see if you qualify for subsidized child care, in Bexar County contact the City of San Antonio, Department of Community Initiatives, Child Care Services Division at (210) 246-5200. If you reside in one of the Alamo Region’s eleven rural counties, contact the Alamo Area Development Corporation at 1-800-204-7905. You may also inquire about subsidized childcare at any one of our Workforce Solutions Alamo Career Centers.

• Go to the City of San Antonio’s website at www.sanantonio.gov. Click on “City Departments” then “Community Initiatives” then “Child Care Services”.

• Go to the Alamo Area Council of Government’s website at www.aacog.com. Click on "Programs" then Workforce Solutions Alamo, then the Child Care Services Information Form.

• Go to the City of San Antonio’s Single Portal of Entry for pre-screening of various child care programs at https://kidfirst.sanantonio.gov.
